Job Description

At the neurology outpatient clinic, you will be part of various diagnostic teams and work closely with several other professions. The aim is to create the best possible conditions for patients and their relatives to cope with a changed life situation, where the illness is usually chronic.

The main tasks consist of investigating and assessing psychosocial interventions, supportive conversations, crisis processing, counseling, and societal information. The target group is adult patients and their relatives, including children.

Work Group

The employment is in the rehabilitation group, part of "Movement and Health" within Primary Care Central Östergötland. The unit provides social workers, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists within the hospital's operations. The social workers in the rehab group work towards different clinics at the university hospital and have continuous professional meetings, joint supervision, and collaborate during absences.

About You

We are looking for you who have a degree in social work, preferably with further education in psychotherapy, step 1. Meritorious is experience working as a counselor within the healthcare sector and if you are a licensed healthcare social worker.

As a person, you are secure and open. You are used to working both independently and in collaboration with others, where you communicate clearly. You plan, organize, and prioritize your work efficiently. We value good teamwork skills, flexibility, and responsibility. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

You need to have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, and hold a driver's license.
